  2. disciplined non-violence
  3. derives from the Sanskrit verb “ji” meaning to conquer
  4. ascetic battle
  5. non-theistic religion founded in the 6th Century BCE by Jina Vardhamana Mahavira
  6. salvation by perfection via successive lives (reincarnation) and non-injury to all living creatures
  7. Jain Dharma
  8. no creator god
  9. more serious ascetic beliefs than Buddhism or Hinduism
